Terms and Conditions

ACCESS

For access to your home, the most convenient method is to leave a key to your residence. This can be done in person or in another form you as the customer deem as appropriate. Your key will be kept safe and secure. If you have an alarm system, please give access instructions to Cruse Professional Cleaning Services.

We return the key(s) based on customer preference. We are not held liable once the key(s) is/are returned in the manner to which you directed Cruse Professional Cleaning Services to return the key(s). Alternate arrangements can be made with Cruse Professional Cleaning Services.

PAYMENT

Full payment is due at the time of your cleaning.

At this time, we do not accept card payments. Only acceptable form of payment is cash. If this does not work, an agreed upon payment option by both parties (Cruse Professional Cleaning Services and customer) will be accepted. 

SCHEDULING

Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to our checklist and priorities discussed during your consultation. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that our maintenance cleanings will address the areas in need of additional attention as quickly as possible. Some homes may be subject to a first-time cleaning fee.

We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness or departure from the company, Cruse Professional Cleaning Services may occasionally provide a replacement professional house cleaner.

If, due to the unique nature of your home, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work. We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings considered as heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. 

ARRIVAL WINDOWS

To ensure quality service for all valued clients, Cruse Professional Cleaning Services usually cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our professional house cleaners to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.

Service provider(s) will arrive within the following timeframes:

  • When we have a key to the home, our arrival window is between 9am and 5pm. (time subject to change depending on an agreement made between us and you the customer)

  • When we are meeting someone at the home, we will set a two-hour arrival window between the hours of 9am and 5pm. (time subject to change depending on an agreement made between us and you the customer)

FEEDBACK

Please take a moment to offer your comments to Cruse Professional Cleaning Services. This may be done through a phone call, email, or online review. We value your opinions and your feedback is essential for us to improve our service and serve you better.

24-HOUR GUARANTEE

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Cruse Professional Cleaning Services will do what we can to make it right. We will ensure to have a conversation with you on how we can do just that. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning.

GRATUITY

Cruse Professional Cleaning Services never requires you to tip. It is always appreciated but never expected. 

CANCELLATION

We understand it may be necessary to reschedule on occasion. If it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, Cruse Professional Cleaning Services requires notice of three business days. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. Please contact us directly to make schedule changes.

Recurring services are priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.

BREAKAGE/LOSS

Cruse Professional Cleaning Services is licensed and insured. If breakage/loss occurs, notification must be made within 48 hours of service. Key replacement/locksmith fees are not paid if the key(s) are returned in the manner to which the customer agrees the key(s) should be returned.

SUPPLIES

Cruse Professional Cleaning Services uses safe and reliable professional-grade cleaning supplies to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please let us know prior to your cleaning so we might provide instructions to your professional house cleaner.

PETS

Please secure all pets in their travel crates or kennels. Cruse Professional Cleaning Services will treat all pets with love and respect; however, we cannot be responsible for their escape.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

For safety and insurance purposes, we do not climb higher than a two-step ladder.

We will attempt to reach all visible areas with either an extension duster or vacuum extension.

We cannot move items weighing more than 25 pounds.

We cannot touch or move firearms in order to clean an area. Customers who own firearms should move them to an area we do not clean.

We do not clean animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood or other similar bio-hazard materials.

We clean “living space” only, which is the area in a home or facility that has air conditioning.

We do not remove or haul away trash, debris or furniture. This also applies to Post Construction Clean Up.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the customer in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the customer's needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United States of America. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
